Never Boring was approved on July 08, 2025, and opened on July 23, 2025. Thank you so much to The Fanlistings for approving me for this fanlisting! Freddie Mercury has been a huge part of my life, and I'm very grateful for being able to run the fanlisting for him!
Why Freddie?
Freddie Mercury and Queen have been a part of my life from day 1, literally! My mom would listen to their music all the time, and she often played their songs to calm me down when I was fussing. According to her, I knew every word to Bohemian Rhapsody by the time I was 2 years old, haha! 35 years later – I still love listening to their music, and (badly) trying to match Freddie's vocal range while rocking out to their songs, haha! Thanks mom! ❤
The design
You're currently viewing version 01 of Never Boring. Yellow definitely looked good on Freddie, so I decided to use it as the main color for the layout. I wanted Freddie to pop out of the image, just as he would do while performing on stage, so I really tried to emulate that. I'll probably end up tweaking this design a bit more down the line, but for now, I'm happy with how it came out!
The layout utilizes Bootstrap v5.3.7. It was designed in Adobe Photoshop 2023 and fully hand-coded in Sublime Text 4. The design was tested on a 1920x1080 resolution in Firefox, Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge. This layout should be mostly optimized for all screen sizes (the header image still needs to be fixed to be responsive), but let me know if you have any issues!
